Storm Clouds

Day 83 and here I am late this afternoon checking out the storm which is brewing around me!! So I suppose my favourite for today is watching what Mother Nature can come up with "Storm Watching".

These pictures really don't do the clouds justice they were a really weird colour...... everything looked a bit yellow.

The clouds were rolling and rumbling right before my eyes!!!

Here is Ryan and Lulu..... looking a little large isn't she? Would you believe she is only 8 months old!!

I was a bit of a slacker today day 82 and didn't take any pictures so thought I might show you my favourite picture of myself and my two kid's Megan and Ryan.

I did have a pic lined up for today day 81 but it wasn't taken on my camera, it was taken on Jackie's camera after three of us had had a few too many wines and were incapable of taking our own picture, unfortunately it hasn't been emailed to me yet..... soon I hope.

So here is a pic I took of Megan instead, which leads to my favourite for the day.... taking pictures of my kids and anything else that gets in my way anywhere between 100 and 300 a month!

Here I am Day 79 and I'm getting ready to go out for lunch with Jodi and Jackie, I'm really looking forward to this!!

So I guess my favourite for the day is having lunch with great company!

Today's photo is day 78 for me and it also happens to be my 37th birthday, is that right maybe I had better go and check my birth certificate, I'll be back in a sec!
See I told you that since having kids my brain had turned to mush.... too much going on I think!!
And yes my certificate says that today is my Birthday and yes I am 37..... woooohoooo how exciting turning one year older and getting one more wrinkle, 100 more grey hairs one year closer to retirement! Oh that's right once you have children it's a job for life! Pay sucks so I wouldn't be able to retire anyway would I!
Here is my favourite for the day..... Sunrise, it's peaceful, fresh, birds are beginning to sing and the trees are kissed by the sun for the first time, the colour pallet is amazing!
Well I had better go now I have some more cellebrating to do. Take care and Ill see you tomorrow.

Just checked out how many hits I had on my blog in the last 24 hours and it was 59, wow that's great!!! Now all you have to do is leave a comment every now and then so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself which isn't that unusual I suppose!!! Ever since I had children I think I'm lacking a few brain cells so I have to talk to myself so I remember stuff!! Come on don't be shy...... it won't hurt I promise!

I did this layout yesterday afternoon and thought I might share it with you, I'm really into bright colours at the moment, bit of a phase I'm going through as we all do!! I'm really loving these Jenni Dowling journalling cards at the moment as well they go with just about anything!Enjoy.

Here is a cute pic I took of Megan thismorning, it's supposed to be a nice spring pic but I don't know what happened to spring it disappeared. It's raining outside at the moment and Megan is down in the chook pen in the shed with her little friend's trying to stay dry. As you do!!

On to my favourite for the day and Yum Yum it's my favourite bottle of White Wine. I discovered this bottle of wine while on one of those wine tours up around Stanthorpe with a few great friend's. It was the most fun ever we had the best bus driver he was a real character, bit of an actress I think!

Spring is in the Air

It's Monday morning Day 76 for me and I'm a little bored with the mug shots I've been taking so I decided to pull a few faces today.

This first shot is my "Ooooops maybe I shouldn't have done that" look, you know the kind of look you get when you are trying to take a short cut because there just isn't enough time in the day to do it properly and everything just falls to pieces!! Then you think back to what Mum used to say "If you did it properly the first time you wouldn't have to do it again!!!" Gee Thanks Mum!!!
This look is my "Get out of my way, don't talk to me, don't look at me, don't even come near me" look. This one doesn't come out very often.

And finally this is my " I can't believe it" look, this one comes out on occasions such as finding cracked eggs in your daughters bedroom or driving all the way to the front gate to catch the bus and realising that you forgot the kids!!!

Day 75 and it's Father's Day, and just as predicted Ryan and Megan came sneaking in to our bedroom before the sun was up to surprise Dad! Megan wanted Dad to open his presents so much that well.... she opened them for him! Ryan was openly discussed about this because deep down he wanted to do it, so he yelled out "It's not Megan Day you know!! It's Father's Day". Everything turned out OK when Dad allowed them to open the copious amounts of lollies which the kids put in with his pressy. Hope you all had a nice day!!

Today's favourite is stalking everyone else's blog when I have five minutes to spare!

Today is day 74 for me and it's the first day of Spring, and one of my favourite things to do is "Spring Clean" I know you all think I'm crazy and should be admitted but I really enjoy having a good clean out and rearranging things so it all feels fresh and New! Today I did Megan's room and you wouldn't believe some of the gross things and little stashes of goodies I found! Yeah she was really organised for the next time she was to be sent to her room for something, she wasn't going to starve that's for sure! I took everything out of her room including the bed gave it a good clean and put it all back in, now it is pristine...... well for the next five minutes anyway until she goes back in there! Crazy I know but it felt good!
