New Layout
I found this layout really frustrating to do.... I must have done it with 10 different colours and re-arranged it at least 10 times.....why? I don't know, so today I made it my mission to get it finished because I'm sick of looking at it on my desk..... I've been trying to do it for nearly 2 months and it was driving me crazy!

Just Chillin
You know something is up when all you can hear is silence at my house.... well when I couldn't hear the usual fighting and arguing this afternoon I knew they were up to something and I certainly didn't expect to find a chook sitting on my lounge watching Sponge Bob Square Pants!!!
I know I should have gone off my head but it was kinda cute..... "Look Mum she really likes it", well at least the cat was getting a break!!!

Down at the Yards
Ryan and Megan aren't usually allowed in the yards when we are doing cattle work but today they got to have a go once all the calves were draughted off the cows. Today we are marking the calves, vaccinating and de-horning..... boy I'm glad I'm not a calf ouch!!!!! The kids had never seen a calf being marked before, Megan was so funny she said " Mum I can see it's guts", she nearly got it right "Nuts Megan Nuts".
Megan was trying to get right up there in the thick of the action...... Ryan said "I think I'm going to vomit!" I don't think he liked the sight of all the blood once the calves were done.

Close Encounter
Look who came to visit us tonight! We knew something was up when Phoebe our dog wouldn't stop barking at something under the house, initially I thought it may have been a snake as we did have a close encounter with one a few weeks ago!, but as usual the kids just had to investigate and this is what they found Phoebe going crazy over. About an hour after discovery it was getting quite dark so I took the kids inside for a shower and while they were there I went outside to see if I could get a closer look. Would you believe he was right at the front door just behind the step, so I got down a little closer to try and get a pic for the kids. I couldn't believe my luck when he came right up to me he wasn't at all frightened and I can see why, with those huge spikes all over him I would think he'd have no trouble protecting himself!!
He was so cute and very inquisitive when I started to take the pictures he came right up to the camera like about 30cm away.... a little too close for me so it was time to back away!!
For all of my readers who don't live in Australia this is an Echidna!
That is all my exciting news for today bye for now!!

Back to School
Back to school today what a relief, they may look happy in this photo but I think these two little people would have seriously hurt each other if we had another week off school!
This is becoming quite a problem in my house, what to do with so many eggs!!!
Well today we decided to blow them out and have a little fun. It's too early for Easter I know but who cares.
Aren't they beautiful, Megan did such a great job making sure they were all so colourful. I think she had more fun mixing and playing in the huge bowl of egg that was going to be thrown out! 12 eggs in all.
So proud..... I wonder how long these eggs as fragile as they are will last?

Back in Action!
I know it's been a while since I last posted.... I just needed a little Time-out.
After our little visit to Goondiwindi and a quick visit to Cut & Paste to catch up with Pip and some of her customers ( all who I miss very much ) I got some new goodies to inspire me again, anyhow I got up at 5:30 thismorning and got stuck into it, this is what I came up with..... I really love the cute papers from s.e.i and the glittered chipboard flowers from MM.
We had a great time in Gundy.....
the kids especially loved the fact that they were able to go to McDonald's for breakfast. IT WON'T BE HAPPENING AGAIN!!! No Juice, No Hashbrowns, No Lemonade, less than a days worth of fries left in stock! Bill and Ben were serving behind the counter and they thought it was a big joke, I can tell you it wasn't funny at all I saw a few customers ( holiday makers ) who decided to travel the extra 122 km to Moree for breakfast.

I fully intend to post every now and then when I have something worth sharing, so I'll catch you later!!
