One Happy Camper!!!!

Guess who was lined up at the Post Office first thing this morning....... ME!!!!! I couldn't wait to get all my goodies from Cut & Paste, thanks Pip love it love it all!!!!!
Now all I have to do is to find somewhere to put it all in amongst the rest of the stash, then I get to play with it all!!!! How exciting
This is day 41 for me.

I know I have posted twice today that's because when I tried to do day 40 last night our Wireless Broadband Signal was down, there now that we're all clear on that have a happy day I know I will.

HELPFUL TIP!!!!!!

Don't wear a white shirt when helping your husband pull a couple of calves!!!!
I didn't purposely wear a white shirt I had just come home from town and Mark wanted me to go and check a calf with him ( someone to open all the gates ) in a paddock about 2km from the house. After doing that we noticed two cows having trouble calving, up down pushing and nothing was happening, we gave them a little time to see if they would progress and they didn't, so to cut a long story short we had to put them in the yards ( about another 2km away ) and pull the calves. I was covered in mucus slime and poop, my white shirt didn't survive but the two calves did!!!
So after going home to have a shower and clean up we went back to the yards and took some pics. This is baby no1 We thought this baby was dead.... not the case just too big for mum to push out!!

I had big plans for this photo but after the drama that took all day I just had to settle for a picture of the sign in the dark and a pic of me half covered up!!!

38 and 39

Here I am in my tiny kitchen ( you couldn't even swing a cat in it ) trying to decide what to have for dinner Hmmmm...... something quick and easy I think so I can get everything cleaned up early and go to bed. I'm a bit tired tonight as Ryan decided it would be a great idea if he slept in our bed and Dad slept in his last night, I'm surprised I haven't got a black eye I was on the receiving end of one or two elbows during the night along with grinding teeth, kicking and tossing and turning. I must admit I had a little bit of a camp this afternoon when Mark took the kids to check the cattle!

Met the girls in town today for a catch up and coffee at a new coffee shop that only opened the afternoon before! Verdict.... that's the name in case you were wondering will be very popular I'm sure of that!! This is Day38 for me.

Got home late today and this is what I saw in the sky.... beautiful isn't it!!!

Day 37

Ever go flat out all day cleaning and organising your house to get to the end of the day and wonder what you did!!! I think the "Mess Fairies" followed me around today. It's a never ending cycle isn't it, you clean it they mess it!
Anyhow this is day 37 for me, I tried to take a photo of myself with the kids swimming goggles on.... it was painful they were too tight and I couldn't see so I gave it a miss.

Country Chic

Finally I got around to doing another layout today, the photos were taken this morning after taking Ryan to school. Megan thinks she is big enough to open the gate by herself so who am I to argue!! only thing is she has to climb it first because she can't reach!! After she shuts the gate she always gives a little dance as she is so pleased with herself, then she tries to race me home up the 500mtr driveway.

Little Mate

This is my little mate Phoebe I've had her for just over 10 years now, she's a funny little dog with lots of personality and she is great with the kids, not so great with the little chookies she thinks they're dinner!!!!! This is Day 35 for me.
This is what I saw late yesterday afternoon when sitting at my dining table..... what a view!!!! I live on such a beautiful property and I am always too busy to stop and appreciate the absolutely gorgeous scenery around me! So I might take a leaf out of Pip's book and try to take a few moments every now and then to capture it all!!!!

Finally I might get a day at home tomorrow to do some scrapbooking or even just to tidy up all my goodies, I have been so busy staining some furniture at the shop in town that I haven't had time for anything else!!! Word of advice..... pay the extra $200 to get the item stained and varnished when you buy it!!! don't think that you will save by doing it yourself, I am onto my 3rd tin of stain after 3 coats then I have to sand in between each coat of varnish..... a very time consuming exercise let me tell you!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY UNSTAINED FURNITURE!!

Now that I have had my whinge see you later.

Thought I might share a few cute pictures of Megan and Ryan today. This one was taken when I was trying to get a few good shots for scrapbooking, I asked Megan to smile really big..... check out the smile she is almost busting and as for Ryan well what a huge effort, kinda cute I thought.

All around our yard there is lots of really long grass, the kids play and hide in it all the time, which makes me wonder what will we do when summer hits! Snakes snakes snakes.... I can't stand them and I know that with all the long grass they will be around, so my aim is to try and slash it down a bit just to make it a bit safer for us all!! So today's photo is day 34.

Oh Ryan was really upset this morning because I couldn't make his Birthday today instead of next Tuesday, he has left little notes all over the house detailing what he wants, even down to what he wants on his sandwich for the day! Little people are so cute sometimes aren't they!!!

Two Eggs

Day 33
Two seems to be the average number of egg my new little chookies lay each day, it is very cold so I can't expect too much.
The little ladies have provided many hours of entertainment for the kids, only yesterday I found Megan carrying a basket around with one of the chooks in it like it was a baby.

Every afternoon they fight about who gets to let them out, who gets to collect the eggs and who gets to feed them!

Day 32

Went to a local chinese restaurant last night for dinner ate some seafood and well.... you know the rest!!!

These are pictures of my son Ryan after he had been to the dentist and had four big needles to have a couple of loose teeth removed, he was a very brave boy and didn't even cry!!!!

Drive Time... Day 31

Every morning I drive the kids into town to school it takes around 15 minutes. Sometimes it is a pleasant 15 minutes sometimes it isn't, like today.... Muuuum he looked at me!!! next there are school bags being thrown at each other, hitting, punching and screaming. I have learned to switch off and just turn the stereo up a bit louder and look forward to the day that I won't have to put up with the fighting anymore!!! I think they can catch the bus next year!!

This is almost a daily occurrence!!!

Nice and Quick

This is a very simple quick layout I did this morning in between making pumpkin soup baking some muffins and a few loads of washing ( once we had water ). I think the colder it is the quicker I tend to work
I love these cute little flowers - I got them at a shop in Orange not sure of the brand.

Ah the joys of it all.....

Spare a thought for all those people without water thismorning..... LIKE ME!!!!! There I was 6:15am ( it's so cold I almost didn't get out of bed ) took all of my layers of pj's off to have a shower, standing there goose bumps almost becoming mountains, waiting..... waiting.... waiting.... NO WATER!!!! This is just crazy, so I quickly put my pj's back on and went for the jug to make a coffee, thankfully there was just enough water in it to make one for myself and Mark. So I was unable to wash my hair today something which I always do, feeling a bit stale so wanted to clean my teeth, there was only a few drops of water left in the jug and Mark and I had a bit of a rumble over who was going to get it first ( bit like a pair of two year olds fighting over a toy ) in the end we shared how nice is that!

Here I am at 7:30 this morning checking out what sort of a day it is going to be? Take a look at the background in my photo.... gorgeous isn't it! this is the kind of view I have surrounding my house, yes that's right I can't even see a neighbours house, how lucky am I to be living out of town with all this privacy. It's a lifestyle that the kids have taken to like ducks to water (not surprising when both their parents grew up on properties).
Anyhow that's all for now bye.

Sometimes......

you need to just slow down and take a break from your busy life and have a little giggle and maybe even a little drinky. Now that the kids are back at school you'd think I'd have more time on my hands, not going to happen!!!! I seem to be even busier never enough hours in the day to do the things I need to do or want to do, so it's nice just to take a little time out just for ME!!!! ......Day ????? not quite sure I think it is Day twenty something.... Oh that's it 28 it's Day 28.

Today I was just freakin out because my little flower child's pad was all Groady n stuff, so after Buggin out this morning to take the little people to get some schoolin I put on some tunes that were Bitchin and cleared the little one's pad. Now it is lookin Outta Sight and I'm not Wiggin out any more because everything is Primo!!!!!!

I would like to introduce you all to our gorgeous little kitty Lulu. Lulu has just come of age and is in need of a little operation so those big nasty Tom cats will leave her alone. The kids are a little nervous about it all but I assured them that everything was going to be OK. So good luck for tomorrow Lulu!!!!

I haven't got a photo for today yet... when I went away I went to take a photo and noticed I had no memory stick, Yes that's right NO MEMORY STICK FOR MY CAMERA!!!!! All I had was a small emergency one that would only hold around 20 pictures. Day 18 is on Mum's camera..... I think?

Today my baby girl Megan turned 5, took her on a shopping spree in Orange and once again she was spoiled rotten, I just can't help myself!

I can tell you that we went and saw Shrek 3 only we turned up 2 hours early, never mind we'll just go shopping until it's the right time!.

Just arrived at Mum and Dad's place with the kids, Oh boy it's cold! so I borrowed Mum's hat the one with the horns.
