No It's not a mistake!!!

No I wasn't running late and didn't have time to dress Megan for school...... It was all part of Education Week at their school, all of the kindergarten kids were allowed to wear their PJ's. That was yesterday and today the school had an open day so all parents and guardians could go into their child's classroom and have a look their work. Ryan and Megan got a nice surprise this morning because dad came along with me to check out their handy-work!!!

I wondered how many kids just got straight out of bed and wore the same PJ's to school! Megan picked her PJ's out a week ago and wouldn't wear them because she wanted to keep them clean for the day...... she even asked me to get the "wigglies" out of them...... that means can you iron the creases out!This time last week Megan was in the eisteddfod with all the other kindy kids and she had to have a fish outfit....... how on earth am I supposed to do that!!!! Any other animal would have been easy but a fish!!! After a bit of thought this is what Megan and I came up with...... a huge box covered in sequin fabric with holes cut out for her head and arms, we then added fins and a tail to finish him off!! It was a huge hit!!

Late Post

I'm doing a late post tonight..... truth be told I only got home a short while ago as a few friends and I have been making Gummi Bear outfits for our daughter's to wear for their Ballet dance recital in the eisteddfod in a few weeks....... these outfits are sooo bright and fluffy it's going to look fantastic.

Now I know I'm a little late in posting about yesterday but I truly have been run off my feet.... as they say better late than never!! We had sooo much fun yesterday scrapbooking that I am so excited about the next one..... on a Sunday I'm thinking and I'll let you know when I have confirmed a date. Got a strange look off a man who was wondering why I was taking a sewing machine into the Club along with an armful of pizza boxes...... but hey it was all for a good cause and I am still getting messages from people tonight saying how much fun they had!!!!

I did start a layout yesterday using the new kit for Scraparooney and didn't quite get it finished, so this morning after putting the kids on the bus I went to it and this is the result....

This layout is a bit of fun and the papers and felt were so easy to work with..... I just love it!

Well I'm off to get ready for another busy day tomorrow....... adios!!!

My Day in Pictures.......

Time to get fit and start walking I think..... take a look at what I paid for fuel this morning!!! And the attendant at the Caltex told me that it's going to go up again!! Oh by the way this isn't my fuel bill this belonged to the poor bugger that pulled up next to me, my bill was only $100.

So as you all know today we had a teachers strike so I decided to take the kids into town for a breaky treat at McDonald's......Ryan really enjoyed his McMuffin....

and Megan loved her Hot Cakes......

When we got home we decided to go for a walk and take a few pictures..... we found this really cool tree we could climb......

After I got a few really nice pictures it became a game to jump off......

Then we went for another little walk.....

found some sticks and decided to have a stick fight...... as you do

My Day......

I bumped into Jodi this morning outside the post office (as we do most mornings) had a bit of a chat about what a great time we all had yesterday and decided to go and have a coffee! We sat down to have a coffee and Jodi handed over a little parcel and said "this is for you", Hmmmm what's going on it's not my birthday, when I opened the parcel this is what was inside...... a gorgeous good luck charm for my Pandora bracelet!!! wow wow wow!!!! It came with a beautiful card and a very kind message......... I won't go into too much detail about the message but I know she meant every word she wrote....... thank you Jodi you are such a kind-hearted person.

Well after all that excitement I spent the rest of the day organising the next kit for Scraparooney..... I know you are going to love this one..... and guess what it's only going to cost you $60........I might start some sneak peeks next week so you will just have to keep checking!

Had a few more bookings for our big Scrapbooking Day at the club next week....... I'm really looking forward to this......it should be a fantastic day! Remember if you want to join in just send me an email.

Tomorrow the kids get the day off school due to a teachers strike..... looks like I get to sleep-in past 6am wooohooo!! I'm not quite sure what we are going to do for the rest of the day as all of our fences have been torn down around our house and over the next few days a new one will be going up! This means tractors, post hole diggers and a bit of fence- straining...... not a good place to have kids running around.

I love days like these

Today I had a little bit of a crop day at my house with these gals......... we had way too much fun!! We ate we chatted we laughed and of course we scrapped........ it was such a nice day it just wasn't long enough!!! I can't wait for next Tuesday when we do it all again this time at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club where we can really spread out and do some serious scrapping...... remember if you want to join in and have a great time just send me an email to secure a spot.

Dog to give away!!!!!!

Words can't describe how PO I am at the moment!!!! I am unable to use all the swear words I want too ....... so I think I'll just screeeeeeaaaaaaam arrrrggggghhhhh aaarrrggghhhhh aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!

My day began in the usual way..... get up have shower then coffee.... get kids up and give them breakfast and help them to get dressed...... while this is going on I usually go outside and feed the animals and let the dog off. This morning we were running a little late so while I was in the bathroom getting ready I told Megan to go out onto the verandah and put on her black school shoes, she came back and said those shoes are the old ones that Alfie ( our naughty dog ) ate......no they aren't Megan the old ones are in the big basket up the end of the verandah, could you go and check for me! A minute later she came back and said Mum those ones are ripped too! Aaaarrrrrgghhhh Yep that's right the DOG ate another pair of school shoes!!! These shoes were only 6 weeks old at the most. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!! So off to town we go and wait for the shoe shop to open....... bought another pair of good school shoes!!! Megan's third pair for this year!!

The rest of my day was really nice until about 1 hour ago when I discovered on the verandah that the DOG decided to eat Ryan's good school boots!!!!! Yes there they lay torn to pieces....... aarrrgghhhh arrrrgggghhhh!!!! Why didn't it eat the old gum boots or my old yard shoes why why why? Looks like another trip into town in the morning to the shoe shop!!!!

I think at this moment I would give just about anything to have my little Phoebe Dog back.... she was such a good little dog and I miss her sooo much!!!

This makes me smile.

This is a photo I was going to share with you last week but got a little side-tracked. Simple things like these cute little hand made glasses that Megan made at school always bring a smile to my face.
I think I have kept every little drawing and every little creation ( ones that don't go mouldy ) since they were little......rubbish to many but masterpieces to me and a reminder that they have grown so much, no longer are there little stick men with arms and legs protruding from a big round head but drawings of people with all their fingers and shoes complete with shoe laces.
So here is another masterpiece to add to a growing collection......... what do you do with all the creations your kids bring home?
I finished another layout for Scraparooney today...... now I have used up my kit and all I have left are a few little scraps which I might try and turn into something...... Hmmmm have to think about that one!!! Meg has done some more as well so go and check them out!!! I'm quite excited about working on the next kit......... I know you're going to love it but you'll just have to wait a few weeks for that one!!

Busy Busy!!!

The last week has been really busy just trying to get as many layouts done as possible for everyone to have a look at. I haven't scrapped this much in one week for a long time and I'm absolutely loving it!! I'm loving this kit.... loving the colours ... and all the possibilities..... Hmmmmm way too much fun!

Happy Mothers Day

Hope you are all being spoiled as you should be! I woke this morning to two very excited kids jumping all over me busting for me to open my presents! So after Megan opened them... yes that's right Megan opened everything giving me a detailed cometary on the whats and hows of everything, I think she would have blown a vessel if I hadn't let her....... I noticed that there was atleast 90% chocolate in the presents....Hmmmmm I wonder why that is!! That's one of the best things I love about Mothers Day...... the excitement on the kids faces and the fact that they went and bought the gift themselves with themselves in mind...... hence the chocolate was all gone by lunch time and I only got a few pieces..... like I needed it anyway!! There was however a gift voucher at Goodness and Gracious which I will have no trouble spending..... tomorrow I think!! After all the gift giving and eating my wonderful husband put on a Sunday Roast...... I didn't have to lift a finger.......Ahhhh I love my family!!!

I spent the afternoon scrapbooking......and here is a glimpse of what I came up with using this months Scraparooney kit...... to view it in full you will just have to visit Scraparooney. I should have another one to share tomorrow I hope so stay tuned.

New Layouts to share

Well I don't think I've ever been this busy..... packing kits for Scraparooney and chasing orders and trying to keep my house in order all at the same time!!! I do like the fact that I'm keeping my mind busy and creative.

Sneak Peek!!!

Here is just a little look at what I've been up to over the last month or two.........
Beautiful aren't they!!! They are part of a monthly kit I'm putting together for a little business I decided to start called "Scraparooney", why do this you ask..... well I am a stay at home mum and I now have both of my children at school and I thought it was time to do something JUST FOR ME and everyone I know who loves gorgeous scrapbooking products!!
I have a new Scraparooney blog for you all to look at and view the complete kit...... but you'll just have to wait until next week for that one.

Well so far our weekend has been very busy with Ballet and Soccer this morning and washing all afternoon...... just trying to catch up really...... this little project of mine takes up quite a bit of time and I might just have and try to domesticate Mark! Yeah like that's going to happen. Oh well no point in whinging I had better get on with it.
