I love mushrooms and when I saw one of these stools on Melissa's blog a few months ago I wanted one. As luck would have it my sister only lived a short distance from the shop and even better knew they lady who owned the shop where Melissa bought hers so I asked her to check them out.........I really wanted it for Megan's room, I had to keep it a surprise for her birthday so even though I ordered it a while back it only arrived this week.
The cute little felt mushrooms next to the stool I made from a pattern I found on Melissa's blog also........thanks Melissa for all your creative inspiration!!!!

As I was saying my baby girl had a birthday this week......the big Seven.
Wasn't she over the moon when she opened a gift containing one of these........
I have never seen her brother be so nice to her...... ever!!!! Now he's counting the days down to his birthday hoping that he gets one also.

Speaking of big brother's her is Ryan at the Rugby a bit over a week ago ( in need of a hair cut I know ), he loves this game and he and his team mates are getting better each week it so good to watch.
Unfortunately at this game one of the boys in the under 13's broke his leg and the Ambulance had to be called........guess who was standing over the poor boy the whole time the Ambulance Officers were treating him ??? Yes she is one big sticky-beak, and she came and told us all that it was OK the boy wasn't dead, he just broke his neck!!!!
It took another 20 minutes to explain that they only put a neck brace on as a precaution, as they do with most accidents!!!
OK, I'm going now as we are about to light a big fire outside and make a damper in our camp oven over the hot coals.....fun fun fun!!!

All bugged out!!

Today we made some more cupcakes......Lady Beetles for something different. A word of warning.....don't attempt these unless you have at least 3 -4 hours spare....but if you do the end result is rather cute. I got the idea from the Martha Stewart site.

Here is one a little closer.........I haven't eaten any yet because as you can see they are positively sugar heavy and for me probably a bit sickly, but the kids love them........yes and after consuming a few not surprisingly my lounge suite became an indoor trampoline.

Here is a little more of the aftermath, whilst eating more not so good food for the day....they thought they were Master Shefu ( I think that's how it's spelt ) out of the Kung Fu Panda, I though I would use these pictures for my everyday life pictures.

"Crazy Kids""Master Shefu""No explanation" OK on to other matters, I was very excited when a friend rang me late this afternoon to let me know I had been chosen as the winner of the Cut and Paste January Comp, this is so cool because I know the Feb Double Up pack is bound to be full of some great goodies, thanks Pip!!

That's all I have to share today

Quick Share.......

Today Ryan wanted to do as many other cricket supporters around Australia did and that was to wear PINK on honor of Jane MarGrath Day. He has been watching the Test Match all day and can tell you anything about the match if asked........he loves cricket so much!

Here he is practicing his "spin bowl".

Here is how I spent one very hot and humid afternoon while Ryan watched the cricket and Megan floated around doing anything and everything.....Scrapbooking, something I have not done for what seems like forever!

A little closer.
OK, time to go and get dinner... bye for now.

Some might say......

.....that I'm "Camera Happy"......well yesterday that was true, I had a look at my little counter on my camera and I took approximately 200 pictures.....here are some of my favourites...........
Hanging out at Pumpkin Patch........I'm sure all the other shoppers thought I was weird.
Refreshments at Donut King.............it was very busy.....I hate holiday crowds!!!
We all went for a walk around the big park in the middle of Tamworth.........and I won't say who, but someone kept trying to catch a duck.
We found a water fountain.
More water fountain.
Played in the leaves.
Afterwards I thought that wasn't such a smart thing to let them play in the leaves.......spiders live in leaves.
We came home with some bedtime reading.
Later that afternoon Ryan and Megan decided to get wet.......they had way too much fun can't you tell.....
This went on for hours......I didn't mind at least they weren't trying to hit and punch each other like the usually are.
Here is a picture of our Apple Tree in Blossom.......right on sunset, it's just beautiful.
This morning I left the kids at Mark's work while I went and had my hair done and when I went back to collect them they were both covered in dirt......way too grotty to go out for lunch or to do any grocery shopping.
We have had a real hot lazy afternoon this afternoon, not much house work has been done and it's really starting to look a little out of control......I read that Mazza is giving up her house keeper, I wonder if she would drive the two hours to do it for me?? I think she might run if she saw the state things were in at the moment..... I need to get some organisational lessons or tips I think.
Wow, that was a photo heavy post wasn't it!!
I'm really busting to do some scrapbooking but it's a little hard with two helpers!!
