Flea Market Finds!

For this weeks "Flea Market Finds" I'm going to share something which was a total freebie! This little beauty was found in the shearing shed. How lucky was I to score it.......it had been discarded for years and no-one even noticed it's rustic beauty, that was until I went hunting for something old and stumbled upon it. Now it has a new loving place to stand in the corner of my living room.
Here is a new little friend coming together, she hasn't got a name yet but I'm sure when she is finished she'll let me know who she is!!
If you want to see some lovely goodies that some of the other "Flea Market Finds " followers have come by please head on over to Sophie's place and check them out.

great find, rusty stuff is great! I've got some wool bag stencils with the station names on them but haven't worked out where to put them yet.

That's wonderful! A great find indeed. I imagine they would cost a fair bit now too.

Your little friend is looking very sweet, can't wait to see more. :)

Great find - shearing shed hold a wonderful amount of treasures, just waiting to be found. I collect old wool bale stencils - there are so many old and broken ones hanging on nails in shearing sheds everywhere! Nic

whoa - you don't stumble across those everyday do you?! Is the shearing shed still used or could there be even more treasures lurking in dark and dusty corners where the wood is shiny with the lanolin of all the sheep who have passed up the race? Ooooo - it does beg the question doesn't it?
