Black Bird Cushions

Today was so nice and cool, it was an absolute joy to sit and create something without sweat dripping from my brow.
I made these four little cushions for a special order I've been working on. Loads of fun, I really enjoyed making something I haven't made for a while!
Because these cushions are so small ( 20cm x 20cm ) I had to make the inserts to go in them.
I also made this set of Love pears in red, I was thinking of making a few more for Valentine's Day or any time of year for that matter!
So sorry about the brightness in this picture, I don't know why it is but I can never get a nice picture of anything with red in it! These pears aren't fluro red......it's just my crap photography skills!

Thanks for stopping by.

P.S. The air-con man came and fixed my air-conditioner a short while ago! Woooohooooo!

Totally with you on the joy of not being overheated today! That cool change was so welcome.

Love the black bird cushions. Great design. Very striking. One can tell it's yours!

I love both of these! Is it wrong to think of buying your own valentine gift?!

I have trouble with red too. Today I could not even capture green properly :(

Isn't the cool temperatures bliss! I even got to my bench and made some jewellery - its just been too hot to even consider it the last couple of weeks :)

The red pears look great, denim is hard to photograph too. You are a busy lady. We holidayed up in Canberra in January, visited Handmade Canberra of course. Even purchased a couple of your goodies :) Will blog about it in the near future. Jacqueline
