Never a dull moment......

...... at our house lately, just look at what we found as we went over the ramp right near our house on Friday. At first I thought it was a giant rat running along, got a little closer and saw that it was a tiny little fox, she was looking a little irritated and rubbing one of her ears along the ground.... it looked to me like she had a big grass seed stuck in her ear, so I tried to get it out for her..... I couldn't get it out so all I could do was let it go. I know what you're thinking..... what are you doing letting a pest like that go why didn't you kill it? Not my thing just couldn't do it.
I remember as a kid growing up on a farm my Mum was the same when it came to cute little foxes, she kept one as a pet and when it grew up she took it out into the middle of nowhere and let it go.
This is what my daughter came inside clutching in her hot little hands on the weekend!!!! "Look Mum I think all the honey has gone out of this one" PUT THAT DOWN RIGHT NOW Mark and I screamed, do you know what that is? A wasp nest.... the size of my hand!!! Thankfully it was empty this could have been a whole lot worse than it was.... phew!!!

I think this will make a great show and tell item for school this week!!!
