Busy Stitching!

Last week I decided to email for some information on a very exciting new shop which is about to open it's doors. I sat on the info for a couple of days and then decided to take the plunge and apply hoping it wasn't too late.

This is such an exciting new shop, it's going to be absolutely gorgeous and laden with some of the most beautiful handmade goodies.......I am so lucky to be part of it, I only wish I was going to be there for the Grand Opening this week!
If you want to see what it's all about head on over to the Shop Handmade blog and check it out! So as you could imagine last week was a little busy on the sewing front, my stocks were a little bit down so I had to get crackin'. Thankfully I made the post on Friday and some of my goodies will make it in time for the opening. Now I can just sew at my own pace and send goodies as they are needed......which will be often I'm hoping! This morning I took the kids to the pool for a bit of a swim, I took a magazine and a bit of stitching just in case I got sick of reading..............4 hours later the kids are still swimming, their feet and hands are all white and wrinkly and I have nearly finished stitching the front of one of my "ampersand cushions".
Yay for the pool, I think I might have to do that again next weekend.
