My Creative Space.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to play with some gorgeous new fabric I had bought specifically for this project.
I bought this old chair at a garage sale years ago for only $5 thinking that it would look great if I just recovered the seat. Well it did look great for a few years and slowly but surely it became grottier and had acquired a few stains.......not the best of looks!
So I thought some of this lovely fabric from the very talented Nic would be perfect for the revamp!
I don't know why I didn't tackle this project earlier because it's not a job that took very long at all ( once I found my staple gun that is ), 45 min tops!
Take a look at my newly revamped Yardage Design chair!
I couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out! I have a bit of fabric left and I've found myself looking around the house for something else which needs a bit of a Yardage touch. I could do a cushion, a lampshade or even make some zippered pouches........maybe I could do all of them!
Now my chair looks like new!
If you want to see some more creative spaces head on over to kootoyoo and join in the fun.
P.S. If you haven't entered my giveaway yet get in quick because it ends Friday!

As soon as I saw that chair I though Yardage fabric would look fab on that - and it does! I have that same staple gun, mine looks a little more rugged though, as it is very well used, but I have never tried using the tacks – might have to think up a project to try some out!
