The first is actually enjoying myself while doing some housework this morning and being totally amazed at the amount of crap in my carpet that my new Dyson lifted! I have being using another leading brand for as many years as I can remember and never been happy with it, I've always wanted to get one of these ......today was the day.
The second is this absolutely gorgeous fabric I bought from Nic over at Yardage Design. This girl is so clever......her designs are all so delicious! I have a project in mind for this, but you'll have to wait for that one.

We have the handheld Dyson and I LOVE it, so keen to get a full size one soon! It is unbelievable what they pick up isn't it!

Oh la la, we're on our 2nd Dyson in 13 years (we got a DC02 in yellow when we got married & it lasted 10 beautiful happy years, now we have a DC08 in purple for the past 3 years) oh & the hand vacuum, that is fantastic!! My car is always as-clean-as-possible thanks to that rechargable genius. Now what would really make my Summer is if Mr Dyson sent me that incredible round fan - have you ever experienced them as hand dryers in public bathrooms - they are insane!! Oh love love. I think i would like a Dyson washign machine for my 20th wedding anniversary, ahhhhhh. Oh yes, washing Yardage Design fabrics in that, ohhhhhh, love Posie
