I can taste it!

As most of you already know this is what Australia woke up to this morning! I'm not sure but I'm thinkin' it's the biggest Dust Storm ever!!
Guess what? I had a brand new $85 WHITE SHIRT hanging on the clothes line along with two loads of other washing! My gorgeous white shirt is no more..... it's currently soaking to get all the red dirt out, don't like my chances! It's disgusting I can taste it in my mouth and no matter how many times I have a glass of water it's still there. This is what it looks like out my dining window!
I decided to give the kids the day off school knowing that they wouldn't be able to go outside and even staying in their classrooms would be horrible! So far they have had two maybe three wrestling matches, eaten pretty much everything in my pantry, played computer games and are now watching a movie. As for me I'm on my 4th load of washing, I was going to get domestic but what's the point!
I got a parcel in the mail yesterday with these gorgeous fabrics in it, this project also involves a few books.
This is what my creative space looks like today......lots of half finished bits and pieces, it's my mission today to try and finish some of it!
What are you doing to day?

Hi Brenda
Isn't it scary! I am anxious for my parents who both suffer with emphysema. I was to travel to Tamworth with a client today but I decided that the stomach bug that I had yesterday is persisting so i rang in sick. I'm glad you kept the kiddies home,i feel people take risks to their health that are totally unnecessary.I have one daughter living away who suffers from bronchial asthma and allergies but of course she is in denial and the more i say the more she doesn't want to listen, some of it may sink in though, right?LOL
Hope it clears sooner than later
Cheers
Vicki

I am loving the look of your creative space and am looking forward to seeing them finished. (assuming there aren't too many more wrestling matches to distract you)
